The "Fuel" Problem

To understand why this matters, you have to understand how modern AI works. Models like GPT-5 and Gemini Ultra are "hungry." They need billions of examples to learn patterns.

When you use a standard financial AI, it says:"Oh, User A spent $50 at Shell. User B spent $60 at BP. I learn that 'Gas Stations' cost around $55."

That sounds innocent. Until it learns:"User A creates a 'Divorce Lawyer' budget category at 2 AM on a Tuesday."

Suddenly, the model isn't just learning about gas prices. It's learning about human misery. And that model is owned by a corporation that has shareholders to please.

Why We Chose "Inference Only"

Finly uses what engineers call Inference-Only Architecture.

Think of it like a translator. If you hire a translator for a business meeting, they hear your words, translate them into Japanese, and then... they go home. They don't write a book about your secrets. They don't sell your transcripts.

• Training: "I am keeping this data to make myself smarter." (Finly does NOT do this).
• Inference: "I am processing this specific request right now, and then I am done." (Finly DOES do this).

When you scan a receipt with Finly, the image hits our processor. We extract the numbers. We send the numbers back to your phone.And then we burn the image.
